Die Rennen werden sowohl in Small- als auch in Standardbooten durchgeführt:
- Abteilungen: Premier, Senior A, Senior B, Senior C, 24U und University Class, Junior 18U, BCP und Paradragon
- Klassen: Open, Women and Mixed
- Entfernung: 200m, 500m, 1.000m* und 2.000m Racing werden durchgeführt nach:
- IDBF Competition Regulations (Edition 9.0 – Jan 2025)
- IDBF Rules of Racing (Edition 9.0 – Jan 2025)
- IDBF Rules for Paradragon Racing (Edition 1.3 – January 2024)

DIVISIONS, RACING CLASSES, KOMPTITION LASSSES UND DISTANCES
Streckenplan 2000m
- The 2000-meter races during the 17th WDBRC in Brandenburg will be completed with four turns.
- Races will be held in lanes 2 and 7.
- The pre-start will take place 30 meters before the actual start line, which is the same as the finish line.
- The starting process will take place with an acoustic and visual countdown. Follow the link to watch and hear an example.
- The timing will be automatically triggered when the boats crosses this start line (finish tower.)
- Each team will receive its own race time as usual. The race begins with the first turn!
- The straight stretch between the turns is 415 meters.
Each team has the opportunity to test that procedure during the trainings sessions Saturday and Sunday.
