The state government and the city of Brandenburg an der Havel invest annually for the maintenance and constant modernization of the natural regatta course on the Beetzsee, so that high-ranking national and international regattas can continue to take place.

The state of Brandenburg stands for world-class in the sports of rowing, canoe racing and dragon boat sports.

athletes from all over the world in 2025.

Dear Dragon Boat Friends all over the world,

20 years after the first IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Germany, we will be able to open such a large and important championship again in July 2025. That makes us incredibly proud.

With one of the most experienced and competenced teams at our side, the Brandenburg Regatta Team, we can promise you that the 17th IDBF WDBRC will be an extremely successful experience for all participants and also the visitors. The technical and logistical conditions on the regatta course at Beetzsee will inspire you.
